PIP Probiotic Cleaning Products establish a healthy microbial environment in livestock housing, on beds and on the skin surfaces of cattle. The Probiotic cleaner introduces friendly bacteria that act via competitive exclusion to effectively displace pathogenic bacteria on any surface.
This is a long term solution to agricultural health problems as the product acts as a preventative to pathogenic bacteria. The Probiotic system fits into normal livestock management routines, requiring minimal increase in maintenance.
With routine cleaning of Probiotic Cleaner, optimal hygiene levels can be achieved; leading to better protection against common diseases which cost so much in replacement cows, vet bills, fertility, milk production and milk quality.
Overuse of strong disinfectants and antibiotics have led to increased levels of resistance in pathogenic bacteria strains, an example being Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Due to the competitive exclusion action of Probiotic bacteria, this prevents resistance development in pathogens resulting in less contaminated animal environments.
