"I have bedded my cows with EnviroBed for 6 years now and wouldn't change from the shallow-bed system that I now manage with ease. Last year I took a further 70 cows out of a straw bedded yard and put them onto EnviroBed cubicles and Strep. Uberis which was a problem has now all but disappeared. We rake the backs of the beds twice a day as part of the bedding up routine. It's worth spending this time as it keeps the bed friable and comfortable and prolongs the life of EnviroBed. Using around 1kg per cow per day there are no damage hocks, it is never slippery and the cows have purchase on the surface when they get up. Milking is quicker because the udders are so clean and we have very few cases of mastitis. The result is more milk in the tank and more milk sold for the same number of cows."

"It is really settling in with the cows, and we're pleased with the results so far. There's far less wasted out of the cubicles onto the floors, which means we have to straw it less often than sawdust already. Our manure-robot also has an easier job now with product on the floors. Because of all the visitors to our farm, the news is spreading fast and there are already some people very interested in EnviroBed. So far so good!
